About the event
Coinciding with International Women's Day, DOXMAN March will be featuring two powerful tech leaders; Safia Mirza and Jennifer Stark.
Jennifer is the Lead Data Engineer at the LADbible Group, using Python and Google Cloud Platform to develop data pipelines and data products. Jennifer is also one of the organisers for PyDataMCR meetups and podcasts. She has a PhD in Neuroscience from The University of Manchester, a Professional Masters in Information Visualization, and a Certificate in Data Science. (@_JAStark, www.foxling.co).
Talk: Data pipelines in GCP - new team, new warehouse
Having previously worked in the Legal and Financial Services section, Safia has joined the Technology sector as a DevOps Engineer at KPMG using AWS, Azure and AWS to develop Cloud-based solutions for clients. Safia also runs IHF:Code – a free Introduction to Python course for women aimed at improving diversity in technology by teaching practical skills.
